get set go for green matter's first job!-tree plantation- 24th august!

If the huge support and interest levels garnered by our Facebook Page
were anything to go by, it would be safe to say that we were not
surprised by the descent crowd of around of about 40 blooming minds
who made it to the Tree Plantation event beside the Rugby Ground on
the 25th of August . The most exhilarating part was the way in which
all the students actively participated in the events and contributed,
in their own simple ways, towards the good of the environment. As
ideas begin to pour in regarding the future endeavors which the
members of Green Matter can carry out, it gave the impression that
they were seriously inclined towards the betterment of the environment

and not just working to win an event in a Tech Fest.

Coming back to the event, we would like to say a big “THANK YOU” to
the NCC members who intensely helped us by providing all the tiny
plant saplings.  Our sir________ was also present and he made sure
that the whole event was carried out in a systematic way.
This event of planting tree saplings has aroused our interests even
more. We were so absorbed by it that we are planning to have ANOTHER
PLANTATION PROGRAM (ON A LARGER SCALE) IN SOME TIME. We now need to
keep our target fixed and keep our minds focused. A bigger battle
waits for a better future. And we are determined to fight it out.
